The Delta Conservation District developed a guide to water-wise landscaping for the surrounding area, "A Guide to Xeriscape in Western Colorado". 




Micro-Hydro

The DCD partnered with local, state and federal agencies as well as organized ditch companies to map ditches within the district to analyze where opportunites exist that have the potential to generate electricity.  The DCD partnered with Delta Montrose Electric Association on a brochure designed to determine where micro-hydro is applicable.
